A bomb of mass 5 kg explodes in to two pieces from rest. After the explosion one piece of 3 kg moves with 60 m/s. Find the speed of second part?​

Explanation:

m1.u1+m2u2=m1.v1+m2.v2

and as it's starting from rest the LHS will be zero andnow put the other value in the RHS

3×60+2×X

=180+2X

180=2X

X=180/2

=90M/S
