let Gagan get x
so, sachin gets x/5
and rohit gets 2x/5
As the total amt. is 1000
so, x+x/5+2x/5 =1000
8x/5 = 1000
so 8x = 5000
so x = 5000/8
= 625
so gagan gets 625 rupees
so, sachin gets x/5
and rohit gets 2x/5
