मार्जिन एरिया (१ कागज़ )=२.५*२=५स्म सक.

मार्जिन एरिया (३६० कागज़ )=५*३६०=१८००स्म सक.

कुल एरिया (प्रिंटिंग लए)=१००८००-१८००=९९०००स्म सक.

To Find :

find the total area available for for printing

Solution:

Length of each page = 20 cm

Breadth of each page = 14 cm

Every page has a blank margin 2.5 cm deep long each short side and 2 centimetre deep along each long side.

Length of page for printing = 20-2-2=16 cm

Breadth  of page for printing = 14-2.5-2.5=9 cm

Area of 1 side of page available for printing = Length \times Breadth = 16 \times 9 =144 cm^2

Area of both sides of page available for printing =144 \times 2 =288 cm^2

Area of 36 pages available for printing =288 \times 36 =10368 cm^2

Hence the total area available for for printing is 10368 sq.cm.
