Length of printing area = 20 - 2 x 2

                                       = 20 - 4

                                       = 16

Breadth of printing area = 14 - 2 x 2.5

                                         = 14 - 5

                                         = 9

So, printing area on each page = 16 x 9 = 144

The book has 360 pages.

Total printing area = 144 x 360

                               = 51840 cm²

                               = 5.184 m².

Answer:

54000 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Each page measures 20 cm X 14 cm

Counting out the margins on all four side, the dimensions of the page will be

(14 - 2 - 2) = 10 cm

and

(20 - 2.5 - 2.5) = 15 cm

So, area available to paint on one page = 10 X 15

= 150 cm²

Since there are 360 pages in the book

Total area for painting = 150 X 360

= 54000 cm²
