Solution:

Let the price of magazine = x

Price of a Book = 4x

According to the Question

=> Book + Magazine = $10

=> 4x + x = $10

=> 5x = $10

=> x = 10/5

=> x = $2

Cost of a magazine ( x ) = $2

Hence Cost of a magazine is 2 and the price of a Book is 8
