a book costs rupees 96 and mahesh bought 60 such books . by mistake ... the accountant at the store made the bill by taking the cost of each book to be 5 rupees less. what is the difference in this bill from what it should have been​

actual book price=96 rupees

miscalculated book price = 91 rupees

total actual  cost =96 x 60 = 5760 rupees

total miscalculated cost =91 x 60  = 5460 rupees

Difference = total actual cost - total miscalculated cost = 5760 - 5460 =300 rupees

Answer =300 rupees
