Volume = length \times breadth \times thickness \\ thickness =  \frac{volume}{length \times breadth}  \\ thickness =  \frac{144}{12 \times 8}  \\ thickness = 1.5 \: cm

Answer:

Let the thickness be x

We know that volume of a cuboid = length x Breadth x height

Therefore,

=> 12cm x 8 cm x x = 144cm³

=> 96x cm² = 144cm³

 =  > x =  \frac{144}{96}  \\  =  > x = 1.5cm
