a book lying in the class and then handover to class monitor to handover it to class teacher but class monitor miplaced it and he is not able to returb it back. what will i do?

i in this situation i was there i simply help the class monitor to find the book

As the monitor tells you the incident you should go and inform the librarian as he / she may be tensed. The you can ask your classmates, teachers, peons, and the people who clean your class. You can also check in lost and found. If all this didn't help then you can go and see cctv footage
