Given : The book seller has 100 books.

He selled 20 books each for 38 rs

and 80 books each for 40 rs

38 × 20 = 760

&

40 × 80 = 3200

Therefore, seller sells 80 books for 3200 rs

and 20 books for 760 rs

therefore, 760 + 3200

= 3960

hence, the total amount that the seller gets is=3,960 rs.

hope it will help you. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
