let cp be x

profit = sp-cp

profit = 660-x

profit percent =\frac{profit*100}{cp}

10=\frac{660-x*100}{x}

\frac{10x}{100}=660-x

\frac{x}{10}=660-x

x=10(660-x)

x=6600-10x

11x=6600

x=\div{6600}{11}

x=600

therefore x= cp = Rs.600
