Total books in bookshop = 12000 books

Books sold in first week

= (15/100)*12000

= 1800

Books sold in second week

= 1800(1 - 15/100)

= 1800(17/20)

= 90*17

= 1530

Number of books left after second week

= 12000 - 1800 - 1530

= 12000 - 3330

= 8670

Answer:255

Step-by-step explanation:

In the first week, 15% of the books were sold, so,

15% of 12000 = 1800

In the second week, 15% less books were sold, so,

15% of 1800 = 270

1800-270= 1530

Remaining books = 12000-1800-1530 = 8670
