a borrows rs 8000 at 12% per annum s.i and b borrows rs 9100 at 10 percent per annum s.i, in how many years will their amounts be equal?

SI=p*r*t/100
A=p+si
(8000*12*t/100)+8000=(9100*10*t/100)+9100
960t+8000=910t+9100
960t-910t=9100-8000
50t=1100
t=1100/50
t=22
Therefore, after 22 years their amounts will be the same

8000 (100 + 12×t)/100 = 9100 (100 + 10×t)/100

80 (100 + 12×t) = 91 (100 + 10×t)

8000 + 960t = 9100 + 910t

960t - 910t = 9100 - 8000

50t = 1100

t = 1100 / 50

t = 22 years

Hence, their amounts will be equal in 22 years.
