Solution

Let the water in the bottle be 1000 ml.

Then 3/4 of the bottle =3/4×1000 ml=750 ml

Now, this can be poured into 5 glasses of equal capacity.

Hence, capacity of each glass  =750÷5=150 ml

Now, 3 glasses are filled using the bottle. Hence, volume of water used =3×150=450 ml

∴ Amount of water left in the bottle =750 ml - 450 ml =300 ml.

Finally, fraction of water left in the bottle =300/1000=3/10
