A bottle of soda water is grasped by the neck and swing briskly in a vertical circle. Near which portion of the bottle do the bubbles collect ?

Explanation:

The bubble will collect in the portion where the centrifugal force on them is minimum. Towards the bottom of the bottle, the centrifugal force is maximum while it is minimium towards the opening of the bottle. Therefore, the bubbles will have the tendency to move towards the opening and since it has been grasped tightly on the neck, the bubbles will be stuck there.

Due to lightness of the gas bubble they feel less centrifugal force so they get collect near the neck of the bottle. They collect near the centre of circular motion i.e. Near the neck of the bottle.
