a) the wells dried up because of over execration of water which reduced the ground water level.

b) when water is being extracted the ground water level drops down and the roads and cemented surface of soil it prevents regeneration of ground water.

c) ground water can be replenished by rainwater harvesting.

d) the villagers need water to live when water is being extracted the well dry up and they have to go far to bring water so the villagers show the importance of water for all living creatures.
