A bottlenose dolphin is 10 feet below sea level. Then it begins to dive at a rate of 9 feet per second. What is the equation of the line that represents its elevation, y, after x seconds?

y=10+9x

as , it is already 10 feet below so 10 become constant.

and it rate change is 9 feet per second that is "x" so it will get add on 10

therefore , give us value of y

hence , this is the required equation
