A bought a calculator for ₹540 and had to sell it at a loss of 15% . find the s.p of the calculator .​

price of the product = 540

loss percentage = 15%

so,

let the loss be l

as we know,

loss÷ c.p ×100 = %

l÷ 540×100 = 15

l = 54×3÷2

l= 81

so,

s.p = c.p -loss

s.p= (540-81)

s.p = 459
