Answer:

A buy it 250 Rs.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

'a' ring sold it to b at 100% profit.  b sold it to C at 20% at loss if C paid 220Rs.

Find:

The 'a' buy it.

Solution:

Let the CP of A is 100.

So, A sold it to be 'b' at 10%

So, CP of B is 110.

'B' sold it to C is at 20%%

So, CP of C is 110-22

=88Rs

Now,

'C' paid 220Rs.

88 \rightarrow 220Rs

1Rs=\frac{220}{88}

\Rightarrow 2.5Rs

Cost price of A is 100.

So, the 'A' buy it =100 \times \frac{2.5}{10}

=250Rs
