a box can hold a maximum of 35 apples, what is the smallest number of boxes you need to hold 255 apples? show your working!

We have to find the number of boxes to hold 255 apples.

35 apples = 1 box

255 apples = 255 / 35

                   = 7.2857 box

Now, as 7.28 is greater than 7

So, in order to hold 255 apples  at least 8 boxes will be required
