A box contain 10 mangoes out of which 4 are rotten. Two mangoes are taken out together. If one of them is found to be good , then the probability that the other is also good is?

One of the mangoes is found good hence
a) If both mangoes are good, probability = 6C2 = 15
b) If one mango is good, one rotten,
probability = 6×4 = 24
Probability that 1st is good = 15+24=39
Probability that one is found good and second is also good is 15/39 = 5/13
