Let the weight of sugar be x kg

Total packets of flour= 6 packets

Weight of each packet of flour= 2 kg 50 g

= 2.05 kg

Weight of 6 packets of flour= 2.05× 6= 12.3 kg

Weight of box= 1.9kg

Total weight of box= 20.2 kg (given)

Now, according to the question

Total weight of box= weight of flour+ weight of sugar+ weight of the box

⟹20.2= 12.3+ x

⟹x= 20.2-12.3

⟹x= 7.9 kg

Solution:

Let the weight of sugar be x kg

Total packets of flour= 6 packets

Weight of each packet of flour= 2 kg 50 g

= 2.05 kg

Weight of 6 packets of flour= 2.05× 6= 12.3 kg

Weight of box= 1.9kg

Total weight of box= 20.2 kg (given)

Now, according to the question

Total weight of box= weight of flour+ weight of sugar+ weight of the box

⟹20.2= 12.3+ x

⟹x= 20.2-12.3

⟹x= 7.9 kg
