Answer:

798

⇒  The ratio of Rs.1, 50 paise and 25 paise coins is 5:6:8

∴   Number of Rs.1 coins = 5x.

⇒  Number of 50paise coins = 6x

⇒  Number of 25paise coins = 8x.

∴  Value of 5x Rs.1 coins = Rs.1×5x=Rs.5x.

⇒  Value of 6x 50paise coins = 6x×50paise=Rs.1006x×50=Rs.3x

⇒  Value of 8x  25paise coins = 8x×25paise=Rs.1008×25=Rs.2x

⇒  Total amount = Rs.420

∴  5x+3x+2x=420

∴  10x=420

∴  x=10420=42

∴  Number of Rs.1 coins = 5×42=210

∴  Number of 50paise coins = 6×42=252

∴  Number of 25paise coins = 8×42=336

⇒  Total number of coins = 210
