Let the number of good oranges be x
then the number of rotten oranges will be = (150-x)
__________________________
Probability of taking rotten oranges
= no. of rotten oranges/Total no. of oranges
0.06 = (150-x)/150
9 = 150-x
x = 150-9
x = 141

Hence the number of good oranges is 141.

let rotten oranges be x
probability of rotten = x/ total
0.06=x/150
.06×150=x
9=x
good oranges = total - x
=150-9
=141
probability of rotten = x/ total

9=x
good oranges = total - x
=150-9
=141
