A box contains 20 kg of rice. If 2500 grams of rice has been taken out for
boiling, then what is the ratio of the amount left to that of the original
quantity?

A box contains 20 kg rice , so we convert kg to g .

20 kg=20000g

if 2500 g is taken out then ,

20000 - 2500

=17500.

According to the question ,

the ratio of amount left to that of original quantity is

17500/20000

= the ratio is 7:8.
