If it's values are in the ratio 8 : 4 : 3 then,
100 paise = 8x
50 paise = 4x
25 paise = 3x
But the value of per coin will be in
ratio = 4 : 2 : 1
Therefore the numbers of coins of per paise will be,
100 paise = 8x / 4
= 2x
50 paise = 4x / 2
= 2x
25 paise = 3x / 1
= 3x
then,
2x + 2x + 3x = 280 coins
7x = 280
x = 280 / 7
x = 40
As x =40 then,
100 paise = 2x
= 2 (40)
= 80
50 paise = 2x
= 2(40)
= 80
25 paise = 3x
= 3(40)
= 120
Therefore there were,
one rupee = 80
50 paise = 80
25 paise = 120
100 paise = 8x
50 paise = 4x
25 paise = 3x
But the value of per coin will be in
ratio = 4 : 2 : 1
Therefore the numbers of coins of per paise will be,
100 paise = 8x / 4
= 2x
50 paise = 4x / 2
= 2x
25 paise = 3x / 1
= 3x
then,
2x + 2x + 3x = 280 coins
7x = 280
x = 280 / 7
x = 40
As x =40 then,
100 paise = 2x
= 2 (40)
= 80
50 paise = 2x
= 2(40)
= 80
25 paise = 3x
= 3(40)
= 120
Therefore there were,
one rupee = 80
50 paise = 80
25 paise = 120
