1) Consider one white ball be A and the other white ball be B.

When we draw a ball randomly from the box, the chance that the ball be white is only 2 ways.

one is if we get ball A and the other way is if we get ball B.

Probability of getting a white ball ⇒

No. of favorable outcomes/Total no. of outcomes

⇒ 2/9  [total no. of balls is the total no. of outcomes].

2) Similarly,

probability for a blue ball = 3/9 = 1/3 [ since we have 3 blue balls, no. of favorable outcomes is 3]

3) probability for getting a red ball = 4/9

4) neither blue nor red means, the drawn out ball should not be blue and also red.

The only possible way for this is to draw a white ball.

Probability for getting a white ball = 2/9

5) neither blue nor white implies getting a red ball as outcome.

probability for getting a red ball = 4/9

6) neither white nor red implies getting a blue ball as outcome

probability for getting a blue ball = 3/9 = 1/3

7) not blue means, we can draw a red ball and we can draw a white.

Number of red and white balls = 6

Probability for not getting a blue ball = 6/9 = 2/3

8) similarly probability for not getting red = 5/9

9) probability for not getting white = 7/9
