Step-by-step explanation:

Total no. of marbles=3+2+4=9

(1) No. of white marbles=2

∴ probability of getting a white marble=

9

2

(2) No. of blue marbles=3

∴ probability of getting a blue marble=

9

3

=

3

1

(3) No. of red marbles=4

∴ probability of getting a red marble=

9

4

(b)Since, Total no. of balls = 5+8+7=20

(1) No. of balls that are white or green = 8+7=15

∴ probability of getting a white or green ball =

20

15

=

4

3

(2) No. of balls that are neither green nor red =7

∴ probability of getting a ball that are neither green nor red =

20

7

Answer:

total no. of marbles of box A = 5

Propability of blue marble in A = 3/5

Total no.of marbles of box B = 7

Probability of blue marbles in box B = 2/7

Most probability = 3/5 * 2/7

= 6/35
