Step-by-step explanation:

total number of marbles is 16

1) no. of red marbles Is 3

so the P = 3/16

2) no. of white marbles is. 6

so the P = 6/16

3) no. of red marbles + no.of white marbles = 3+6 = 9

so the P = 9/16

Answer:

1.3/16 2.6/16 3.9/16

EXPLANATION:

IN TOTAL THERE ARE 16 MARBLES AND

THEREFORE ...

IF YOU TAKE OUT ONE MARBLE AT RANDOM THEN THE PROBABILITY OF THE MARBLE BEING RED WILL BE= (no. of red marbles) /total no.

= 3/16

similarly....PROBABILITY OF GETTING WHITE MARBLES

WILL BE....6/16....which if you round up...will be 3/8

and then it's said..the probability of not getting a green marble....

Now we know that all the probabilities of the every event sum up to 1

therefore the probability of not getting a green marble will be (1-PROBABILITY OF GETTING GREEN MARBLE)

THEREFORE...1-7/16....THAT IS EQUAL TO 9/16

..I HOPE..YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH THE EXPLANATION...
