Answer:

A box contains 432 sweets which are to be distributed in the ratio 1/3:1/4:1/6 to three groups of children.

So,

 \frac{1}{3} x + \frac{1}{4}x + \frac{1}{6}x = 432 \\ \frac{4 + 3 + 2}{12}x = 432 \\ x = \frac{432 \times 12}{9} = 12 \times 48 \\ x = 576

So, each group have

  1. 576/3 = 192
  2. 576/4 = 144
  3. 576/6 = 96
