total weight of 90 bolts

= 90 × 100 = 9000gm = 9kg

total weight of 100 bolts

= 100 × 150 = 15000gm = 15kg

total weight of the bolts in the box

= 9 + 15 = 24kg

weight of box including bolts

= 35.5kg

weight of empty box

= 35.5kg - 24kg = 11.5kg

Answer: weight of empty box = 11.5kg

total mass of 100 gm bolts= 90*100=9000gm=9kg
total mass of 150 gm bolts= 100*150=15000gm=15kg
total mass of all bolts=15+9=24kg
mass of box=entire box weighs+mass of bolts
=35.5-24=11.5
