A box contains cards numbered 8 to 90. A card is drawn at random from the box. Find the probability that the number on the drawn card is 1) a square number. 2) a multiple of 10. (and please can anyone tell me how you count the total number of cards in the fastest way possible)

from 8 to 90 there are 83 cards.( including 8)

dhritideepasarania: How do you count the total no. Of cards containing in the box. Is it like (90-10)+3 or something?
Kartha: just think...anyhow we need to include the card numbered 8. becoz its said from 8 to 90.
