here, n(s)=100
an even natural number=50
P(an even no.)=50/100
=1/2.
an even natural number=50
P(an even no.)=50/100
=1/2.

Total number of cards in the box = 101
Even natural numbers starts from 2 ..... 100
a = 2
d = 2
l = 100
a+(n-1)d = 100
(n-1)d = 100-2 = 98
(n-1) = 98\2
(n-1) = 49
n = 50
So even natural numbers are 50
P(E) = 50/101
Hope this helps!!
cheers!! (:
