A box in the shape of a cuboid has a total surface area of 70m2 and a lateral surface area of 35m2 . Find the area of its base

Area of the base of cuboid = ½ ×(total surface area – lateral surface area)

= ½ ×(70-35)

=35/2

=17.5 m²
