A box of 20 kg moves on a smooth horizontal surface with constant velocity. If the box has moved a distance of 4 metre then calculate the
work done by the box.​

Then according to Newton's first law of motion.

If a body is moving with constant acceleration

then the net external force acting on the body is Zero.

Now we know work done by box = force applied × displacement.

Since box is moving with constant velocity then force acting on it is 0

Thus work done by box =

0 \times 4m

 = 0joule
