A box of above 10 Kg is placed at a point A on a horizontal surface it is moved to a point B which is at a distance of 2 metre from A. If the line joining A and B is horizontal find the work done by the gravitational force on the box. Justify your answer (g=10m/s^2)

Heya mate !!!
The work done is calculated when the force & displacement occur in the same direction .
here, The the box is moving horizontally whereas the gravitational force acting on it is downwards direction..
Therefore , The work done by gravitational force is 0 in this case.
Note :- The gravitational force can play a role in creating friction ( f = u•N ) where N = mg.
But that is non - considerable case.
