Explanation:

weight on moon is 1/6 the weight on earth

mass is 48kg

so, the weight is 48/10=4.8N

weight on the moon is 4.8/6

=0.8N

here, N is the unit of force and weight .(Newton)

answer = 78 N

explanation

mass of object on earth=mass of object on moon = 48 kg ( because mass is constant)

but weight= mass × acceleration due to gravity.

mass = 48 kg

acceleration due to gravity = 1.625 m/ s^2

weight= 48 kg × 1.625 m/s^2

= 78 N
