A box of mass 50 g is kept on a horizontal
floor. When it is pushed by a horizontal
force H, it moves with a constant velocity.
If it is pushed by a horizontal force 1.5 H,
it moves with an acceleration of 0.1 m/s.
Find the value of H.

Hey mate here is your answer:------ 0.01Newton

❤❤

Explanation:

We know that the Newton first law states that the body is be in the position of rest or in uniform motion unless and until an external force is applied to it.

If H is the force applied on it and the body moves with uniform means that the force is equal to zero.

Then,

F = H

U = V

A = 0

M = 50g

If the force of 1.5H applied on it, the body produce an acceleration of 0.1m/s^2

F = 1.5H

A = 0.1m/s^2

M = 50g

So the net force = 1.5H - H

= 0.5H

We know that,

F = ma

0.5H = 50/1000(kg) × 0.1

5/10H = 50/1000 × 1/10

5×1000×10H = 50×1×10

50000H = 500

H = 500/50000

H = 1/100

H = 0.01 Newton
