A box of mass 50 kg is kept on a horizontal floor. When it is pushed by a horizontal
force H, it moves with constant velocity. If it is pushed by a horizontal force 1.5 H, it moves with
an acceleration of 0.1 m/s2. Find the value of H.

Answer:-

  • Force=1.5H
  • Mass=50kg
  • Acceleration=0.1m/s^2
  • H=?

According to Newton's second law

\boxed{\sf Force=Mass\times Acceleration}

\\ \sf\longmapsto 1.5H=50\times 0.1

\\ \sf\longmapsto 1.5H=5

\\ \sf\longmapsto H=\dfrac{5}{1.5}

\\ \sf\longmapsto H=3.3
