A box was full of balls 25% of them where Red ,2/5 were yellow and the rest were blue. there where 140 blue balls. how many more percent of yellow balls than red ball where there?

so

1-2/5 -1/4 = 1- 13/20 = 7/20 blue balls

so if 20 is the total unit of balls

7 units is blue ball = 140

so 1 unit = 20

out of total balls 25 % were red balls

so 25 % of 20 is 5 .

so there is 5 unit of red ball

i.e. there are 5 × 20 = 100 no. of red ball

and 2/ 5 were yellow ball = 8/20

which means 8 units of yellow balls

i.e. total of 160 yellow balls

hence there are total 400 balls inside the box

% of red ball = 100*100/ 400 = 25 %

% of yellow ball = 160 *100/400 = 40 %

hence there are 15 % more yellow balls than red balls.
