Answer:
15 %
Step-by-step explanation:
Box contain 25 % = 1/4 red balls.
and 2/5 were yellow balls.
so
1-2/5 -1/4 = 1- 13/20 = 7/20 blue balls
so if 20 is the total unit of balls
7 units is blue ball = 140
so 1 unit = 20
out of total balls 25 % were red balls
so 25 % of 20 is 5 .
so there is 5 unit of red ball
i.e. there are 5 × 20 = 100 no. of red ball
and 2/ 5 were yellow ball = 8/20
which means 8 units of yellow balls
i.e. total of 160 yellow balls
hence there are total 400 balls inside the box
% of red ball = 100*100/ 400 = 25 %
% of yellow ball = 160 *100/400 = 40 %
hence there are 15 % more yellow balls than red balls.
