A Box weighing 15N slides down from the top an inclined plane making an angle of 30° with the horizontal. Calculate the Work Done by the force of gravity in moving the box 5.0m along the Plane.

take \: g = {10ms}^{ - 2} and \: also \: assume \: that \: the \: force \: of \: friction \: is \: negligible

Answer:

work \:  = force \times displacement \:  \times cos \: theta

work = 15 N × 5× cos 30

work = 75 × ✓3/2 = (75 × 1.73 )/2

=129.75÷2

=64.875 Joule
