Acc to the question we have to find the largest no. of apple combination which is not possible to make (should be smaller than 100).

Let's start from the upper limit. i.e. is 99 apples possible to get? Yes it is possible by 11 boxes of 9 apples.

Similarly check for 98 apples, it is possible by 9 boxes of 6 apples and 2 boxes of 22 apples.

97 apples = 2 boxes of 6 apples, 7 boxes of 9 apples and 1 box of 22 apples.

Finally, we get 43 apples isn't possible to make from any combination. [Ans]

As per the question, you need to come with a combination of the number that will not be completed with the combination of any apple boxes.

If one box has 9 apples, other have 6 apples and the last one have 22 apples then the combination that can’t be satisfied will be 43.

Since no combination can come up with the 43 apples in total.
