A box with a mass of 14.8 kg sits on the floor. How high would you have to lift box to for it to have a gravitational potential energy of 355 J?

where

m = mass of object

m = mass of object h = height from the surface of Earth

Here,

PE = 355J = mgh = 14.8 × 9.8 × h

h =  \frac{355}{14.8 \times 9.8}

h = 2.4476m (approx) (ans)
