Explanation:

PE =mgh

total mass = 50×0.25kg

=12.50 kg

g(gravitational acceleration)= 9.8m/s2

height =50m

mgh= 12.50×9.8×50

=6125 joules

or 6.125 kj

=6125joule

Explanation:

We know that P.E.=mgh .

So,for finding the P.E. of the box of marbles we need to multiply each marble's mass with the total number of marbles .

So,50×0.25kg(converted 25g to kg)

=12.50kg

Now, we got ..

mass =12.50kg

height =50m

g(gravitational acceleration)=9.81m/s2

So , according to the formula of Potential energy,mgh...the P.E.=12.50×9.81×50=

6125 joule...

So finally, the P.E. of the box of 50 marbles is 6125 joule....
