Step-by-step explanation:

given,

c.p.=Rs.x

s.p = Rs. 26

loss = c. p - s. p

= x - 26

again,

loss%= x

loss% = loss / c.p*100

x = (x - 26)/x *100

x = (x^2 - 26x) * 100

100x^2 - 2600x - x = 0

100x^2 - 2599x = 0
