A boy bought some sweets rs. 5 each and samosas at rs. 3 each. the number of sweets and samosas added up to 25 , and he paid rs. 95. find the individual number of sweets and samosas he bought .

:- LET THE NO. OF SWEETS BE X
THEN THE NO. OF SAMOSAS IS 25 - X
5X + ( X-25 )3 = 95
5X + 75 - 3X = 95
5X - 3X + 75 = 95
2X = 95 - 75
2X = 20
X = 20 / 2
X = 10
NO. OF SWEETS IS = 10.
NO. OF SAMOSAS IS = 25 -10
NO. OF SAMOSAS IS = 15.
