a boy contains 1ruppe coins and 2ruppe coins whose value is 70ruppes .if the number of 1ruppe coins is five times that of 2ruppe coins,find the number of each type.

Let the number of 2 rupee coin be 2x rupee then,
the number of 1 rupee coin be 5x rupee. 

Now, according to the question;

5x rupee + 2x rupee = 70 rupee
                   7x rupee = 70 rupee
                     x rupee = 70 / 7
                     x rupee = 10 rupee

Now, the number of 2 rupee coin = 2x = 2*10
                                                           = 20 coins 
And the number of 1 rupee coin = 5x = 5*10
                                                                = 50 coins Ans.
