Answer:average velocity is 0 since displacement is 0 . average speed is 48km/hr

Explanation:

average speed =total distance / total time

let distance from a to b is x then total distance is 2x.

speed=distance / time,

 time from a to b is x/60 and b to a is x/40,

then total time x/60+x/40,

average speed=2x/(x/60+x/40)

                         =48km/h
