(i) Average speed = total speed/number of measurements

=)29+40/2=69/2

=)34.5kmph

(ii) average velocity= 0 kmph because the origin is the end point means displacment=0

Step-by-step explanation:

let the distance be x

average speed of the boy=

total distance /total time

=x+x /(x/29) +(x/40)

=2x/(40x+29x/40×29)

=2x×40×29/69x

=2×40×29/69

=2320/69 km/h

Average velocity =total displacement/total time

Displacement=o

Therefore average velocity =0
