so here total rs=27 rs
total mangoes=6 mangoes
1 mango=4 rs
6 mangoes=?
let ?=x
now x rs =6mangoes
4rs =1 mango
now x=6 mangoes ×4rs÷1 mango
x=24 rs
now, total rs -x =left rs
27-24=left rs
left rs=3 rs

The answer is 3 Rs

Given: A boy had 27 rupees with him

He purchased 6 mangoes at rate of 4 Rs per mango

To find: Remaining Rupees after purchasing mangoes

Solution:

Given that Boy purchased 6 mangoes at rate of 4 Rs per one mango

Then the money that he spent on 1 mango = 4

⇒ The amount of money spent on 4 mangoes = 4 × 6 = 24 Rs

Therefor, remaining amount left with him = 27 Rs - 24 Rs = 3 Rs

Remaining amount left with him is 3 Rs.
