Given - Number of apples the boy has : 6

Number of apples boy gained : 1

Find - Number of apples boy has after gaining one apple

Solution - To find out the number of apples boy has after gaining one apple, we will simple apply the arithmetic operation - addition.

Thus, total number of apples with boy = number of apples already present with boy + number of apples boy gained.

Keeping the values in above equation -

total number of apples = 6 + 1 = 7.

Hence, boy has 7 apples now.
